Show #8 - Spirituality and Veganism: Is there a Connection?
February 1, 2006
Megan and Derek's 2000 holiday card depicting them and their cats as spiritual gurus.
Our 8th show features interviews with six people on spiritual paths that include vegetarianism or veganism. We ask the six interviewees the same 5 questions and make a montage of their answers, so each person is heard throughout the show. Our interviewees include:
- Carol Adams, author of The Sexual Politics of Meat, Inner Art of Vegetarianism, and Living Among Meat Eaters.
- Will Tuttle, author of The World Peace Diet and also an amazing musician.
- Nan Sea Love, visual artist and activist.
- Scott Kessel, drummer for Rani Arbo & Daisy Mayhem.
- Jen Ed, NYC spoken word poet, performance artist, and spiritual activist.
- Rich Montone (aka Gooselove), folk poet and future theologist.
We also feature poems from Gooselove and Jen Ed
